This phone was purchased to keep me "up to date" with technology. Due to my employment with Higher Education, it is a must.
The phone itself is OK. It is all the other gadgets that get me. I am a simple person. I have never been one to communicate a lot with a phone. This was never a "hit" for me. If I want to talk, I'll talk in person...Not via a phone line.
Times have changed they tell me. Get into the 21st Century. So, I got a Droid Four. Big F-ing Deal. It has my contacts. It has some other stuff I like...
Then I started playing with Apps. I can play Cribbage once again. No big deal...Can do that on my Nook. I an read a book in line at the grocery store...Once again...No big deal there. I can scan QRs. Now this interests me. I can make QRs for classes and have students play around with this...OK. We are getting somewhere.
Once logged in, you can check messages, notecards, objects, inventory, the map, and so much more. You can teleport, chat with friends and even see an archaic version of the virtual environment. I tell you what, I am going to see if this can be downloaded on my Nook. If it can, what a great idea.
Though not a full version of the client, it still allows access to pop in and check things out. It also stores user accounts for those with multiple personalities! I tell you what, if this baby starts allowing users to build, watch out! No longer will you need to carry that computer around when you travel ;-D
Yes, I know. Nothing can replace the client with true building and visual interpretation. I'm just looking for something smaller I can carry on the motorcycle and still be able to conduct virtual business!
If I have to score this app with hats (five hats being best)...I would give FIVE HATS. It is worth playing around with ;-D
