WAIT

WAIT.

In conversation with a friend, we spoke of really listening to people. She asked me if I knew of WAIT. Being in training with a medical assistance canine, I replied, "Yes. Wait at the Gate." This gave us our first laughter of the day.

Of course, I was incorrect in the answer.

The outcome was an acronym for WAIT.

When in conversation and you are about to open your mouth, think about WAIT... Why Am I Talking?

Now folks, this conversation happened quite a few months ago and I have been applying this concept more and more.

WAIT

Why Am I Talking?

This small word, with its powerful acronym, has made a world of difference in my life. It seems I can really hear what is being said...and why it's being said. This has empowered me to be a better person. Unfortunately, I have not brought this home. My poor husband experiences the Wrath of Rah a great deal of time. Maybe this is because I feel so safe to display this evil twin to him.

For today, I'll choose to start this tool with my family. When one speaks, I will WAIT @ the Gate ;-D
