As many of you know, I have been enjoying Saturday Night Rock n Roll since around 2007.

I was reviewing virtual environments and their potential for teaching and learning. I even taught a class on Second Life. In fact...I just made the videos public on YouTube. Adventure over if you need a good laugh...

My FIRST day in Second Life, after going through the welcome tutorials, I wound up on an island not knowing what to do.

A female avatar took one other person and me to a Jazz Club in the clouds. It was pretty cool. Our next move was to Hot Licks/ I knew then I was "home". Been visiting since August 17th, 2007...

Our host, Sir Nick, announced Saturday that he is "retiring" and that this would be his last set... however, there will be an event later. My hopes are that he will be live at this farewell.

I will miss these two hours of Saturday Night Rocks.
