Home
I've been traveling around Second Life for over eleven years now. Never, in that time, did I have a "home".
Now, there are several reasons. One just jumps out at me. Why do you need a virtual home? There really is nothing to store there. No need to get in out of the weather. Night time? Just change the Windlight Settings.
Just my thought process folks.
Back to the tale.
The neighbor, Tara Yeats, who is an amazing landscaper, decided to sell some of her parcels. On one, was this "Manor" that I would frequent while she was away. I just loved it there.
Fun and Funky.
Tara left me that Manor as a gift, however, it failed to transfer. That and a few landscaping. No biggie. The building of additional landscape started. All was well until I tried to move something in the house.
I could not move a few books around. One was stuck halfway in a wall.
Not really. It wasn't that bad.
Because of a little fixation issue I have, this became worse every day. I kept saying I'd wait for Tara to login.
Now, folks, we are talking about a retired woman here. She is not in Second Life as often as she used to be.
The fixation grew...
So, off I went to find a Manor on the Marketplace. Found one. Waaayyyyy too many Lindens. I paid anyway. Just had to have.
So, Rah Rehula has an actual "home" to hang in. It's full of lots of things she loves; BOOKS.
Am still adding decor here and there. It's worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.
